Not only are we not looking for anybody inside, we are convinced that no one is there. If there is a God, we think he is surely outside, as is everything else that catches our attention. Vaguely, fondly even, we may sometimes imagine as we go about our business that Someone is probably keeping an eye on us. But if we will open our ears, we can hear the murmurings from within, the faint stir and rustle of a presence deep inside of us, and a voice hauntingly beautiful. Once we hear that, we will pound on the door with all our might, so that we can enter and meet the One who has been waiting so long. ~ Eknath Easwaren
November 10th Daily Meditation Moment
God is an experience. It is not a study, an essay or an argument. Either you are inundated with it or you are not. God is as real as someone touching your hand. Thats how much you can feel Spirit inside of you. It is as real as the beating of your heart. You feel it flowing through your being. ~ Michael Singer
September 1st Daily Meditation Moment
God has made existence magnificent,
He has made it through nonexistence.
He has concealed the sea
And exposed the foam,
Concealed the wind and displayed the dust.
The whirling dust flies like a dancer,
The wind is invisible, known only by trust,
The foam moves all about you,
But without the sea no whirling takes place.
T
hought is hidden, speech is manifest. ~ Rumi
