June 3rd Daily Meditation Moment

It is not enough to have blind faith in spiritual ideals, based on the testimony of the scriptures or spiritual teachers. We must realize these truths for ourselves, in our own life and consciousness. As the Buddha was fond of sayings, the spiritual teacher only points the way; we must do our own traveling. The personal example of others may plant the seed in our hearts, inspiring us to meditate, but faith can develop fully only when we begin to reap the benefits of meditation in our own lives. ~

March 8th Daily Meditation Moment

As for the search for truth, I know from my own painful searching, with its many blind alleys, how hard it is to take a reliable step, be it ever so small, towards the understanding of that which is truly significant. ~ Albert Einstein

February 13th Daily Meditation Moment

The truth is revealed by removing things that stand in its light, an art not unlike sculputre, in which the artist creates not by building, but by hacking away. ~

December 23rd Daily Meditation Moment

The most sublime truth of all has never been stated or written or sung. Not because it is far away and can not be reached, but because it is so intimately close, closer than anything that can be spoken. It is alive as the stillness in the core of your being, too close to be described, too close to be objectified, too close to be known in the usual way of knowledge. The truth of who you are is yours already. It is already present… ~ Gangaji
